Google Takes Maps For Mobile With GPS Beyond Freeways
Using Google Maps for mobile with GPS allows you to enable Maps with My Location and send information to Google to report how fast you’re moving.
Some phones like the T-Mobile myTouch 3G, or the Palm Pre come with pre-loaded Google Maps, however the iPhone Maps application does not support the crowd sourcing.
The company says that this feature might appear stalkerish, but insists that privacy protection is in place to prevent Google from stalking you.
