MapPoint 2010 and Streets & Trips 2010 released

Recently Microsoft has released MapPoint 2010 and Streets & Trips 2010. Both applications have a trial version that you can try out before buying it.

MapPoint 2010 is available in three versions: MS MapPoint North America, MS MapPoint North America with GPS Locator, and MS MapPoint Europe. Currently a trial version for only Microsoft MapPoint North America can be downloaded from Microsoft Download Center  (1407.6MB). To be noted both the MapPoint Add-in for SQL Server 2008 and the OLAP and Spatial Data Import COM Add-Ins do work with MapPoint 2010.

Streets and Trips 2010, released at the same time, has two flavors: Microsoft Streets & Trips ($40) and Microsoft Streets & Trips with GPS Locator. The Microsoft Download Center also offers a 60-day Streets and Trips 2010 trial edition (1360.4MB).
