The state’s Supreme Judicial Court upheld the drug-trafficking conviction of a Cape Cod man, who was earlier tracked by state police for sale of cocaine after they secretly installed a GPS device in his car and tracked his movements.

Supreme Judicial Court said it’ okay to install tracking GPS devices for 15 days. Usually search warrants are in effect for seven days.
